Net a Fish Fish List: Species, Rarities, and Fusion

A rare catch can do more than fill an empty slot in your collection—it can earn cash every second in your pool. This Net a Fish fish list covers named catches, their rarities, and the fusion upgrades that turn stacks of fish into stronger versions. Keep an eye on both your Index and your cooler so you can collect new species while improving your showcase.

Fish Names and Rarities

Jellyfish, Goblin Shark, Great Hammerhead Shark, and Celestial Mantis are among the fish you can catch in Net a Fish. Their rarity labels help distinguish Mythic catches from Apex and Demi-god fish.

Prism Fin Dragonfish is another species you can discover while net fishing.

Read the full fish name alongside its rarity. Celestial Mantis, for example, is a Demi-god catch; “Celestial” is part of its name. Shiny and Gold belong to the fusion system, so keep those labels separate from species names and rarity tiers.

Boss Creatures

The Kraken and Megalodon also appear in the game, but their encounters serve a different purpose from sorting your regular catches. Survive the Megalodon and watch for the Kraken arriving at the docks.

The Kraken can escape during an encounter. Its presence at your dock does not mean it has already become part of your collection.

Use the Index and Cooler to Manage Your Collection

Your Index tracks fish discoveries and offers rewards you can claim. Your cooler holds catches and provides options to equip, sell, and fuse fish. Use both menus regularly: one tracks collection progress, while the other handles what you do with each haul.

After reeling in a net:

  1. Open the cooler. Review your new catches before selling them.
  2. Use Equip Best. Put your strongest available fish into your showcase.
  3. Review fusion options. Check your stacks before clearing out duplicates.
  4. Visit the Index. Claim rewards from newly discovered fish.
  5. Sell the fish you choose to clear. Review your auto-sell settings before the next haul.

The cooler also supports sorting by rarity and odds. Use those views when a large haul makes individual catches difficult to scan.

Be careful with auto-sell thresholds. The menu lets you select rarity ranges, including lower tiers through Legendary. Keep the setting aligned with the fish you still want to collect or fuse rather than copying a threshold from a more advanced setup.

Fish Fusion: Shiny and Gold Recipes

Fusion gives duplicate catches another use besides selling them. The cooler combines stacks into upgraded fish, with Shiny and Gold appearing along the fusion ladder.

Check your fusion options before selling a large stack. After fusing, use Equip Best again to refresh your showcase.

Auto Fuse costs 199 Robux and handles eligible stacks automatically inside the cooler. It continues working up the fusion ladder as enough fish accumulate. Manual fusion is also available through the cooler’s fusion controls.

Catch More Fish and Improve Showcase Income

Your showcase earns money every second from displayed fish. Keep using Equip Best as new catches and fusion upgrades arrive, then collect that income to fund your fishing upgrades.

Upgrade your net when larger fish are beyond its catching strength. Fish swimming close to your dock are not automatically catchable with your current equipment, and a higher-tier net can become an important part of expanding your collection.

Build out your helpers, too. The Fisherman, Boat, and Spear Gun all catch fish, giving you more catches to manage alongside your own net throws.

For players considering passes, 2x Luck costs 349 Robux and doubles luck, while 2x Fish Caught costs 399 Robux and doubles the number of fish caught. Extra Showcase costs 299 Robux and adds three showcase slots.

Choose upgrades around the part of your collection you want to improve: more catches for building stacks, luck for chasing rarer fish, or showcase space for displaying additional earners.
