What Is the Megalodon Encounter?

The Net a Fish megalodon gives you a survival objective alongside the game’s rare-fish collecting. Your task with the giant shark is to survive, while the Kraken’s objective is capture. Keep those encounters separate when deciding whether to spend Robux on boss bonuses.

In play Net a Fish! on Roblox, you throw nets to collect fish and showcase your catches in your pool for cash every second. The Megalodon adds a survival challenge to that fishing loop.

Outside those encounters, you can upgrade your dock, nets, boats, and helpers. Ocean & Abyss Crates hatch pets, while rebirth unlocks new worlds and bigger rewards. You can also join a Crew and participate in Crew Wars.

Pets hunt fish for you. The +1 Pet Slot pass costs 399 Robux and lets you have two pets out together, with the second pet’s money bonus adding to the first pet’s bonus.

What Does the Boss Hunter Pass Boost?

For the Kraken, its perks include 1.5x cash, a 50% mini kraken chance, and a 35% bonus Ocean Crate chance. For Hollow King, it provides 1.5x candy and a 50% Haunted chance.

Other passes affect specific parts of your fishing setup. Big Net costs 149 Robux and increases net size by 50%. Longer Reel, also 149 Robux, extends reel time and adds 2.5ft of net width. Net Magnet costs 399 Robux and pulls nearby fish toward your net.

The automation passes have their own functions: Auto Throw, at 29 Robux, automatically casts your net while you are inside your base. Auto Collect costs 49 Robux and collects money from your showcase. Turbo Helpers costs 499 Robux; it makes the Fisherman, Boat and Spear Gun work 50% faster and bring in double the fish.

Match the purchase to those named encounters. If you want increased Kraken rewards or Hollow King bonuses, compare those benefits with the price before buying.
