What Do Helpers Do in Net a Fish?

Net a Fish helpers catch fish alongside your own net, adding more activity to your dock while you keep casting. The Fisherman, Spear Gun, and Boat make up the helper lineup. You can upgrade them through gameplay, while Turbo Helpers and Helpers Luck offer separate paid boosts.

Each helper contributes to your fishing setup:

  • Fisherman: A fishing helper with its own upgrades.
  • Spear Gun: A fish-catching weapon you can upgrade at your dock.
  • Boat: A vessel that heads out to catch fish, with an engine upgrade.

The Boat handles fishing trips itself. When you buy it, look at its upgrades and engine rather than trying to use it as a boat you steer.

Helpers feed into the same collection-focused loop as your net: catch fish, find stronger additions to your showcase, and earn cash from the fish you display.

How to Upgrade Your Helpers

The Fisherman, Spear Gun, and Boat have upgrade options. The Boat also has an engine upgrade, so include that when reviewing your purchases.

Work through your dock’s available upgrades:

  1. Open the Fisherman’s upgrades and review the purchases you can afford.
  2. Check the Spear Gun’s upgrades alongside your other fishing equipment.
  3. Review the Boat and its engine once you have the vessel.
  4. Revisit your net upgrades so your manual fishing keeps developing alongside your helpers.

Keep your showcase involved in that spending loop. Displayed fish generate cash every second, so compare new catches with the fish already occupying your pool before selling them. Put higher-earning fish on display to help fund your next purchases.

Check duplicate fish before selling them, too. Fusion uses matching fish to create stronger forms, giving those extra catches another purpose.

Turbo Helpers vs. Helpers Luck

Turbo Helpers costs 499 Robux and boosts both working speed and fish quantity for all three helpers. Helpers Luck also costs 499 Robux, but its benefit is 2x helper luck.

Helpers Luck499 Robux2x luckSpear Gun, Fisherman, Boat

Choose Turbo Helpers when you want the speed and catch-quantity benefits. Choose Helpers Luck when you want to increase luck across the helper lineup.

Keep those effects separate when comparing purchases: Turbo Helpers changes how quickly helpers work and how many fish they bring back; Helpers Luck increases their luck. Neither pass replaces the individual upgrade options at your dock.

How Helpers Fit With Other Automation

Other passes automate different jobs, so match your purchase to the action you want handled:

  • Auto Throw — 29 Robux: Automatically casts your net while you are inside your base.
  • Auto Collect — 49 Robux: Collects money generated by your showcase.
  • Auto Fuse — 199 Robux: Automatically fuses fish when enough matching copies are available, continuing through higher fusion tiers.

Use Auto Throw for your own net casts and Auto Collect for showcase income. Keep the helper passes in mind when your goal is specifically to improve the Fisherman, Spear Gun, and Boat.

Pets also hunt fish for you. Ocean & Abyss Crates contain pets, and the +1 Pet Slot pass costs 399 Robux. It lets you have two pets out at once, with both hunting fish and the second pet’s money bonus adding to the first.

For the display side of your setup, Extra Showcase (+3 slots) costs 299 Robux and adds three showcase slots at your base. 2x Money, priced at 399 Robux, doubles money from showcased fish.

For duplicate management, Auto Fuse starts with 10 fish into Shiny, then 8 Shiny into Gold, and continues up the fusion ladder. Review your duplicates and showcase choices as your catches accumulate, especially when investing in Turbo Helpers’ increased fish output.
