How Rebirth Works in Net a Fish!

Net a Fish rebirth unlocks new worlds and bigger rewards, making it a central part of progressing beyond your current dock setup. Rebirthing resets your money, so check the requirements before committing. Your next target can involve both cash and fish caught, which means earning more money does not always clear the remaining hurdle.

Open the rebirth menu to see your current target. When you meet the requirements, select rebirth, then follow the “Tap again to rebirth” confirmation.

Later progression includes a target of $1 billion and 1.8K fish. Use the requirement displayed in your own menu when planning your next reset; that example is a later target, not the cost of every rebirth.

Rebirth progress also opens access to additional upgrades. Keep checking your upgrade options as you advance instead of assuming your current net and helper upgrades are the end of the progression.

Prepare Your Income and Fish Catching

Build around whichever requirement is holding you back.

If you need cash, open your cooler and use Equip Best to put your strongest available fish on display. Showcased fish generate money every second, so refresh that lineup after valuable catches rather than leaving weaker fish in place.

If you already have the money but still need fish, keep casting and upgrade the systems that catch them:

• Net: Buy stronger nets as they become available. Larger fish can exceed your current net’s capabilities.
• Fisherman: Upgrade this helper to support your catches alongside manual net throws.
• Spear gun: Keep its upgrades moving while you work toward the next requirement.
• Boat: Purchase and upgrade it as another fish-catching helper.

The boat catches fish for you; it is part of your fishing setup rather than a vehicle you need to pilot.

Before spending your remaining cash, compare the purchase with your rebirth target. If cash is the last requirement, hold off on optional upgrades and collect your showcase earnings.

Handle Spare Fish Before Selling

Refresh your displayed fish before selling extras. The cooler also supports fusing, so inspect that option before clearing out stacks.

Set auto-sell deliberately. Selling through a chosen rarity clears those catches automatically, so review the threshold when deciding which fish to keep for your showcase or fusions.

Claim available index and quest rewards, too. These give you additional rewards while you continue catching and upgrading.

Get Moving Again After a Reset

After rebirthing, collect showcase income and revisit your upgrades. Check the cooler for stronger fish, then use Equip Best to refresh your display.

Work through the systems that support your next requirement:

1. Check available nets. Buy an upgrade when your current net cannot handle the fish you are targeting.
2. Revisit your helpers. Check the fisherman, spear gun, and boat for available upgrades.
3. Open the skill tree. Spend available points on the upgrades shown there.
4. Check your bait. Equip or use purchased bait rather than leaving it unused.
5. Read the next rebirth target. Shift your spending toward cash generation or catching as needed.

Keep refreshing your showcase when you land stronger fish. High-earning catches can change how quickly you afford the next net, but you still need to satisfy any separate fish requirement.

Paid passes affect specific parts of the fishing loop. Compare their effects with the requirement currently slowing you down.
