Net a Fish Best Net Guide: Upgrades and Robux Boosts
Find your Net a Fish best net upgrade path, compare net size and luck passes, and use showcase income, helpers, and rebirths to fund stronger fishing gear.

A huge fish swimming past your net is a reason to check your upgrades. For your Net a Fish best net choice, prioritize stronger gear when your current net cannot handle a catch. Your showcase earns cash every second, helping you fund the next purchase.
Which Net Should You Buy?
Work toward the Ancient net at 6 billion, then continue toward the Primortal net as you progress. These are later purchases in the net upgrade sequence, and additional nets become available through further rebirths.
Before saving for an expensive upgrade, identify what is limiting your catches:
- Fish are too powerful: Work toward a stronger net.
- Your net fills up: Check your net capacity upgrades.
- You have money for another net: Open Upgrades and compare the next purchase with your current gear.
Strength and capacity solve different problems. A full net limits how many fish you bring back, while a net that cannot handle a fish needs a stronger upgrade.
Keep buying net upgrades as your income grows, but check your other fishing upgrades too. Spending everything on one distant purchase can leave affordable improvements sitting unused.

What Do the Net Game Passes Actually Do?
Several Robux passes affect your net, but their effects differ. Match the purchase to the change you want rather than choosing by name alone.

| Game pass | Price | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Big Net | 149 Robux | +50% Net Size |
| Longer Reel | 149 Robux | Longer reel time and +2.5ft wider net |
| Net Magnet | 399 Robux | Pulls nearby fish toward your net |
Big Net changes net size, Longer Reel changes reel time and width, and Net Magnet adds attraction. Keep those effects separate when deciding what to buy.
Two additional passes affect catches:
- 2x Luck — 349 Robux: Doubles luck for rarer fish.
- 2x Fish Caught — 399 Robux: Doubles fish caught.
For automatic casting, Auto Throw costs 29 Robux and casts your net while you are inside your base. Buy it for casting convenience; keep progressing through the net upgrade menu alongside it.
Check the purchase screen before spending Robux so you select the effect you actually want.
Use Your Showcase to Fund Better Nets
Your pool is the income engine behind expensive gear. Fish placed on display generate money every second, so manage your catches before selling them.

Use this loop between net upgrades:
- Cast and reel in your net. Your catches go into the cooler.
- Open the cooler and use Equip Best. Put your stronger earners on display.
- Collect your showcase cash. Check whether the next net is affordable.
- Review duplicate fish for fusion. Fuse them, then use Equip Best again.
- Sell unwanted catches. Review your showcase and fusion options before clearing inventory.
The fusion ladder starts with 10 fish becoming Shiny, followed by 8 Shiny becoming Gold. Keep those requirements in mind before selling stacks.
Claim completed index rewards and quest rewards, too. Both provide rewards during progression, and index cash can help close the gap to another upgrade.
If you buy income passes, 2x Money costs 399 Robux and doubles money from showcased fish. Auto Collect costs 49 Robux and collects showcase money automatically. One increases that income; the other handles collection.
Keep Helpers and Rebirths Moving
Your net works alongside the Fisherman, Spear Gun, and Boat, which also catch fish. Upgrade these helpers while checking your next net purchase so more of your fishing setup stays productive.
Rebirths open further progression, including more upgrades and new worlds. Check the requirements before committing: progression can require both money and fish caught.
Rebirthing resets your money. If you are preparing to rebirth, check that requirement before spending your balance on another net. Afterward, revisit your upgrade menus and skill tree, then resume building income toward the next net tier.
