What Do Pets Do in Net a Fish?

Net a Fish pets hunt fish for you and provide a money bonus, helping you build income alongside your net fishing. You hatch these companions from Ocean and Abyss Crates. The +1 Pet Slot pass lets you run two pets together, with both catching fish and their money bonuses adding together.

How to Get Pets From Ocean and Abyss Crates

Ocean Crates and Abyss Crates are the two named pet-hatching options. Both appear in the in-game shop, so open the shop and look for those crate names when you want another companion.

An Abyss Crate can hatch an Epic pet. That gives you a concrete rarity to look for, but it doesn’t make every Abyss opening an Epic result.

Before spending on a crate:

• Read its displayed contents and purchase price.
• Compare the available pets with the companion you already use.
• Check the hatched pet’s money bonus before choosing which companion to run.

Keep your crate purchases separate from your showcase decisions. Crates hatch companions; the fish you place in your pool produce the showcase’s ongoing cash income. Continue improving that showcase while building your pet collection.

Getting Ocean Crates Through the Kraken

The Kraken gives you another route to Ocean Crates. Boss Hunter adds a 35% bonus Ocean Crate chance to its rewards, alongside 1.5x Kraken cash and a 50% mini kraken chance.

Boss Hunter also includes rewards for the Hollow King: 1.5x candy and a 50% Haunted chance. Include those separate boss benefits in your purchase comparison if you fight the Hollow King, too. The Ocean Crate bonus belongs to the Kraken portion of the pass.
