Net a Fish Abyss Crate Guide: Pets and Extra Pet Slot

What Does the Abyss Crate Do?

The Net a Fish abyss crate hatches a pet to help with your fishing setup. Pets hunt fish for you and provide a money bonus, giving them a different role from the fish earning cash in your showcase.

An Epic pet is one possible hatch from this crate. Keep that distinction in mind when opening one: you're adding a pet to your collection, while your net catches fish for your pool.

Ocean Crates also hatch pets. Both crate types belong to the pet side of the game, alongside your other ways of building up a fishing operation.

Your showcase earns cash every second from the fish you place in it. Pets contribute through their fishing help and money bonuses, so keep your showcase stocked alongside your pet setup. The Extra Showcase (+3 slots) pass costs 299 Robux and adds three showcase slots at your base. Those spaces hold showcased fish; the pet slot purchase controls how many pets you can have out.

Ocean Crates also appear among Kraken rewards. The Boss Hunter pass costs 249 Robux, with Kraken benefits listed as 1.5x cash, a 50% mini kraken chance, and a 35% bonus Ocean Crate chance. Keep the crate names straight when comparing that purchase with an Abyss Crate in the shop.

How to Buy an Abyss Crate

Open the in-game shop and select an Abyss Crate to purchase one. Ocean Crates are available there too, so check the crate name before buying.

The shop also contains game passes, boosts, and skin bundles. Look for the crate itself when your goal is to hatch a pet.

After hatching, check your pet's money bonus before deciding whether to buy another crate. Use that value to weigh another hatch against upgrades to your net, dock, boat, or helpers.

Compare the specific effects of other shop purchases before spending Robux:

• Auto Throw — 29 Robux: Automatically casts your net while you're inside your base.
• Auto Collect — 49 Robux: Automatically collects money from your showcase.
• 2x Money — 399 Robux: Doubles the money earned by your showcased fish.
• Big Net — 149 Robux: Increases net size by 50%.
• 2x Luck — 349 Robux: Doubles luck for rarer fish in your casts.

These purchases affect different parts of the fishing loop. Choose Auto Throw for automatic casting at your base, or Auto Collect for collecting showcase earnings automatically. Compare the money pass with the pet slot by their stated effects: one doubles showcase income, while the other lets a second pet hunt and contribute its money bonus.

The skin bundles offer another set of shop bonuses. Skin Bundle (Blazing), Skin Bundle (Cloudy), and Skin Bundle (Marble) each cost 999 Robux. Each includes all skins in its theme and grants +20% Money, +20% Luck, and +20% Fish Caught. Select the crate entry when you want a pet hatch rather than a themed skin bundle.

What the Extra Pet Slot Adds

The +1 Pet Slot game pass costs 399 Robux and lets you have two pets out at once. Both pets hunt fish, and the second pet's money bonus adds to the first pet's bonus.

That purchase expands how many pets can work together; buying an Abyss Crate gives you a pet hatch. Choose between them based on whether you want another pet or room to use two simultaneously.

If you buy the extra slot, put both pets to work so you benefit from their combined fishing help and money bonuses.

Keep helper upgrades separate when comparing purchases for your fishing setup. Turbo Helpers costs 499 Robux and makes the Fisherman, Boat and Spear Gun work 50% faster and bring in double the fish. Helpers Luck, also 499 Robux, gives those three helpers 2x luck. Match the purchase to the part of your operation you want to improve: select the pet slot to run two pets, or those helper passes for their named fishing workers.
