What Does the Ocean Crate Do?

The Net a Fish ocean crate hatches pets that help catch fish and boost your money. That makes pets useful alongside your net, fisherman, and boat as you build up your dock. You can find the Ocean Crate in the in-game shop, while the Kraken also has a crate-related reward bonus through the Boss Hunter pass.

Ocean Crates and Abyss Crates both belong to the pet system. Keep those names separate when browsing the shop: they are different crates, so select the Ocean Crate when that is the one you want to open.

How the Kraken Connects to Ocean Crates

The Kraken is worth paying attention to when you are looking at crate rewards. The Boss Hunter pass includes a 35% bonus Ocean Crate chance among its Kraken benefits.

That wording matters: a bonus chance is not a guaranteed crate from every fight. Plan around a chance-based reward rather than counting on a crate after each Kraken encounter.

The same pass also includes 1.5x Kraken cash and a 50% mini kraken chance. Consider those rewards together when deciding whether the purchase fits your goals; the crate bonus is one part of the package.

Pet Slots and Crate-Related Passes
